Maryland High School Volleyball - Marriotts Ridge bounced by Howard

October 7, 2025: Ellicott City, MD 21043

Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Marriotts Ridge Mustangs (Marriottsville, MD), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Howard improves its record to 14-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to face the Vikings in a Class 3A South Region I challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Mt. Hebron lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Guilford Park (Jessup, MD)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Marriotts Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
