In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Irvin Rockets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Warriors.

The Rockets (8-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Harmony School of Innovation (El Paso, TX). The Wolves enter the 4A Region I District 1 challenge with a 1-23 record. In their last challenge, Harmony School of Innovation was beaten by Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 test, on Friday, October 10. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 11-19 record after their 3-1 league win over Bowie (El Paso, TX).
