The Marengo Panthers topped the visiting Johnson Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 9. Marengo will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Keith (Orrville, AL). The Bears come into the 1A Area 5 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Keith was topped by University Charter (Livingston, AL), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
