Virginia High School Volleyball - New Kent tips Lafayette

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) and the host Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), saw New Kent's volleyball squad nudge Lafayette by a score of 3-2.

With the win, New Kent improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Trojans host Tabb (Yorktown, VA) to encounter the Tigers in a Bay Rivers battle on Thursday, October 9. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 9-4. Tabb won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)

The Rams now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bruton for a Bay Rivers battle on Thursday, October 9. Lafayette will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-9.
