The Willapa Valley Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lake Quinault Elks to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naselle for a 1B Coastal game on Thursday, October 9. Willapa Valley will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wishkah Valley (Aberdeen, WA). The Comets record now stands at 9-1.
The Elks (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Mary M. Knight (Elma, WA). The Owls go into the 1B Coastal game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Mary M. Knight went down by Taholah (Taholah, WA), 3-0, in a league game.
