The Murphy Panthers topped the visiting LeFlore Rattlers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers face the Theodore Bobcats (Theodore, AL) in a 6A Area 1 game, on Thursday, October 9. Murphy will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the game with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bryant (Irvington, AL).
The Rattlers (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Citronelle (Citronelle, AL). The Wildcats go into the 5A Area 2 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Citronelle went down by Faith Academy (Mobile, AL), 3-0, in a league game.
