In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Loara Saxons volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Saddleback Roadrunners.

The Saxons (10-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Estancia beat Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Roadrunners meet the Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Saddleback will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 15-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Orange (Orange, CA).
