The Sibley East Wolverines volleyball squad (Arlington, MN), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN)

With the win, Maple River improves its record to 12-23 on the season. The Eagles host Oakes (Oakes, ND) to meet the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 4-6. Oakes lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Enderlin (Enderlin, ND)

The Wolverines now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9.
