Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Southwestern improves its record to 4-24 on the season. The Warriors travel to Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 48 test on Thursday, October 9. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 17-12. Wayne County won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Somerset (Somerset, KY)

The Raiders now own a 15-15 record. They play next when they host Casey County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. McCreary Central will meet a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 7-12.
