In Tuesday's league match, the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Thursday, October 9. McCurdy will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mora (Mora, NM).

With the loss, Mesa Vista drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to clash with the Lobos in a 2A District 5 bout on Thursday, October 9.
