The Salem Greyhounds volleyball squad (Salem, AR), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR)

With the win, Melbourne improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bearkatz host Cave City (Cave City, AR) to encounter the Cavemen in a 3A 2 battle on Thursday, October 9. The Cavemen go into the battle with a record of 7-8.

The Greyhounds now own a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yellville-Summit for a 3A 2 battle on Thursday, October 9. Salem will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-15.
