Washington High School Volleyball - Nooksack Valley tips Meridian

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Meridian Trojans.
The Pioneers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Mt. Baker was edged by Blaine (Blaine, WA), 3-1, in a league test.
The Trojans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, October 9. Meridian will face a Cubs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 3-6.
