With the win, Villa Joseph Marie upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Jems host Sacred Heart Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA) to play the Lions in a Catholic Academies challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Sacred Heart Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA)

Next, the Golden Bears play the Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans (Wayne, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Merion Mercy Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA).
