Next, the Panthers meet the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Penasco will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM).
