Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) boosters were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors (Mount Hope, WV), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Flying Eagles (19-10) will now prepare for their challenge against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots enter the Mountain State challenge with a 20-11 record. In their last challenge, George Washington was beaten by Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Summit Christian Academy Falcons (Princeton, WV) in a West Virginia Christian challenge, on Friday, October 10. Mount Hope Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ballard Christian (Ballard, WV).
