North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southwestern Randolph over Northwood

October 7, 2025: Pittsboro, NC 27312

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) volleyball overcame the host Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league match.

Next up, the Cougars battle the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a Four Rivers 3A/4A match, on Thursday, October 9. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC).

The Chargers (4-14) will now prepare for their match against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles enter the Four Rivers 3A/4A match with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, Uwharrie Charter Academy achieved victory over Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
