The Pacifica Tritons volleyball squad (Oxnard, CA), was defeated 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA)

The Spartans (7-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Buena (Ventura, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Channel challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Buena was beaten by Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tritons face the Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel test, on Thursday, October 9. Pacifica will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Dons go into the test with a 14-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA).
