The Spotswood Trailblazers volleyball squad (Penn Laird, VA), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA)
With the win, William Monroe improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to battle the Knights in a Valley contest on Thursday, October 9. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 11-4. Turner Ashby won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
Next, the Trailblazers encounter the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a Valley battle, on Thursday, October 9. Spotswood will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Gobblers go into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
