Kentucky High School Volleyball - Walton-Verona tips Trimble County

October 7, 2025: Bedford, KY 40006

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) and the host Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY), observed Walton-Verona's volleyball team hold off Trimble County by a count of 3-2.

The Bearcats (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the non-league contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Bracken County got by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Raiders encounter the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 13. Trimble County will attempt to improve on its 11-18 season record. The Colonels go into the battle with a 17-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central (Louisville, KY).
