    The Meadow Broncos (Meadow, TX) football routed the host Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX), 67-22 in Friday's league bout.

    In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) bout, on Friday, October 15. Meadow will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Coyotes enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 83-52 non-league win over Newcastle (Newcastle, TX).

    The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Whiteface (Whiteface, TX). The Antelopes enter the 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Whiteface was crushed by O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX), 72-44, in a league bout.
