The Burr & Burton Bulldogs football team (Manchester, VT), was tipped 38-35 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT)
The Redhawks (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets come into the Division I challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Essex nipped Colchester (Colchester, VT), 35-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Anthony for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 13. Burr & Burton will meet a Patriots team coming off a 53-28 league win over Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
