Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Wednesday, October 12. Gadsden will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldawgs enter the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 1-1 league Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
The Knights now have a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alamogordo for a 5A District 3 challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Organ Mountain will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.
