Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Plainsmen confront the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) in a Suburban Council- Blue challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Shenendehowa will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Colonie Central (Albany, NY).

The Brothers now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shaker for a Suburban Council- Blue challenge on Saturday, October 15.
