In Saturday's league battle, the host Mt. Markham Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sauquoit Valley Indians.
The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY). The Marauders come into the battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Sherburne-Earlville was nudged by Waterville (Waterville, NY), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Indians (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY). The Hawkeyes come into the CSC Division III battle with a 9-1 record.
