In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Benavides Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Arlington Heights Christian Lions.
The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against McMullen County (Tilden, TX). The Cowboys come into the 1A Region IV District 31 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, McMullen County achieved victory over Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
