Texas High School Volleyball - Estacado tips Big Spring

October 8, 2022: Big Spring, TX 79720

The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) and the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), saw Estacado's volleyball squad nip Big Spring by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Estacado upgrades its record to 9-19 on the year. The Matadors host Lake View (San Angelo, TX) to play the Chiefs in a 4A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 12-12.

The Steers now own a 11-18 record. They play next when they travel to Snyder for a 4A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 11. Big Spring will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-27.
