With the win, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 21-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 20-0. Saint Francis won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Presentation (San Jose, CA)

The Bulls now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Amador Valley for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. Branson will play a Dons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Dons record now stands at 17-1.
