The Northside Panthers volleyball team (Houston, TX), went down 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX)

The Rhinos (18-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 19-10 record. In their last challenge, Galena Park defeated Sterling (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Harrold Hornets (Harrold, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Northside will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, TX).
