The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) and the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw Christian Brothers's volleyball squad nip Nevada Union by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Christian Brothers upgrades its record to 19-7 on the year. The Falcons travel to Vacaville (Vacaville, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-4.
The Miners now own a 12-20 record. They play next when they host West Park for a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, October 10. Nevada Union will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 17-11.
