The D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI) volleyball overcame the host Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI), 3-0 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, D.C. Everest upgrades its record to 17-13 on the year. The Evergreens travel to Marshfield (Marshfield, WI) to face the Tigers in a Wisconsin Valley outing on Saturday, October 8. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 28-3. Marshfield won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Stratford (Stratford, WI)

The Lumberjacks now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Merrill for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 8. Wausau East will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 12-15.
