The Fairfax Stampede volleyball team (Laveen, AZ), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ)

The Chargers (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Prospectors enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Apache Junction defeated Cortez (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Stampede meet the Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McClintock (Tempe, AZ).
