The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Las Cruces's volleyball squad beat Gadsden by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Las Cruces upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Bulldawgs host Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Knights in a 5A District 3 bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Organ Mountain won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)

The Panthers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a 5A District 3 bout on Tuesday, October 11. Gadsden will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 11-4.
