The Metamora Redbirds topped the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Redbirds now have a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pekin for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, October 11. Metamora will confront a Dragons team coming off a 2-1 league win over Morton (Morton, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 17-8.

The Irish (14-12) will now prepare for their test against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Grey Ghosts enter the non-league test with a 24-2 record. In their last test, Illinois Valley Central gained a win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
