The Oakwood Owls volleyball team (North Hollywood, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA)

The Pioneers (17-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 21-2 record. In their last challenge, Oxford Academy defeated Artesia (Lakewood, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Owls meet the Brea Olinda Wildcats (Brea, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Oakwood will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to El Modena (Orange, CA).
