The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA) and the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), saw Quitman County's volleyball squad beat Randolph-Clay by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Quitman County upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Early County (Blakely, GA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Early County won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA)

The Red Devils now own a 0-12 record.
