L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, L.C. Bird improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-9.

The Lancers now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clover Hill for a Dominion test on Tuesday, October 15. Manchester will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-9.
