The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes enter the 5A District 4 battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Roswell tipped Clovis (Clovis, NM), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cavemen/Cavegirls battle the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a 5A District 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Carlsbad will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM).
