Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA) and the host Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA), saw Shorewood's soccer squad hold off Edmonds-Woodway by a count of 1-0.

The Stormrays (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA). The Scots enter the 2A/3A Wesco battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Shorecrest tipped Stanwood (Stanwood, WA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco battle, on Thursday, October 10. Edmonds-Woodway will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA).
