The Elk County Catholic Crusaders edged the host Kane Wolves soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Crusaders face the Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) in a North Tier game, on Monday, October 14. Elk County Catholic will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
The Wolves (2-11) will now prepare for their game against East Forest/West Forest (Tionesta, PA). The Fires enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, East Forest/West Forest was nipped by Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA), 3-2, in a league game.
