In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Housatonic-Lakeview Mountaineers soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Shepaug Valley Spartans.

The Mountaineers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos enter the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Terryville tipped Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 6-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) in a Berkshire outing, on Thursday, October 10. Shepaug Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the outing with a 3-9 record after their 3-3 league Lakeview (Litchfield, CT).
