With the win, Academic Magnet advances its record to 6-8 on the season. The Raptors travel to Andrews (Andrews, SC) to face the Yellowjackets in a test on Wednesday, October 9. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 0-2.

The Wolverines now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrews for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17.
