Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) and the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), observed Hayesville's volleyball team top Andrews by a tally of 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Murphy beat Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
