North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ledford over Asheboro

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) and the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), observed Ledford's volleyball team top Asheboro by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the non-league contest with a 20-1 record. In their last contest, North Davidson was knocked off by Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Blue Comets meet the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 1-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
