In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Auburn Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bland County Bears.

The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Fort Chiswell beat Grayson County (Independence, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears play the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Bland County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
