In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lunenburg Central Chargers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Buckingham Knights.
The Chargers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Prince Edward County lost by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Buckingham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA).
