In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Carlmont Scots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the San Mateo Bearcats.

The Scots (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Burlingame lost by Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) in a contest, on Thursday, October 10. San Mateo will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Ravens enter the contest with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).
