In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Deep Run Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hermitage Panthers.

The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Godwin lost by Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Hermitage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Manchester (Midlothian, VA).
