In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Patrick County Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Radford Bobcats.

The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Floyd County lost by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Radford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over James River (Buchanan, VA).
