Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Delaware County Christian Knights (Newtown Square, PA) and the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Cougars (Philadelphia, PA), saw Delaware County Christian's soccer squad hold off Calvary Christian Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Marple Newtown tipped Springfield (Springfield, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Faith Christian Academy Lions (Sellersville, PA) in a Bicentennial - Constitution bout, on Wednesday, October 16. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 16-0 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Dock Mennonite (Lansdale, PA).
