The Squires dominated possession against the Fairfield Knights. They didn't connect well in the first half and their shots were mostly off target. The Knights squeaked in a goal making it 0-1 at the half with a breakdown at the goal. In the second half, Fairfield went up 2 but the Squires answered back with a throw in from JP Groves #4 to the box with Ethan Sevison #39 stepping up to pop it over to Nico Scarmardella #40 who put it in the net. Then, Groves again sent it to the box where Isaac Rasher #53 heads it off the crossbar to Will Holtz #5 for the tying goal. The game went into two scoreless overtimes ending 2-2.
